What the agent gets
- Meeting search by keyword, date range, organizer, participant, or channel.
- Transcripts, verbatim and timestamped by speaker, when the exact wording matters.
- Summaries: Fireflies’ overview, keywords, and action items for each meeting.
- Meeting analytics such as talk-listen ratio, sentiment, and meeting counts for you or your team.
Setup
Click Connect and pick one of two ways to sign in:- Sign in with Fireflies. Rippit registers itself automatically, so there is no client ID or client secret to create. Sign in with your Fireflies account, Google, or Microsoft.
- Fireflies API key. Copy your key from Settings → Developer Settings in Fireflies and paste it in. It is the same key the Fireflies data integration uses.
Identity, scope, and plan limits
Both options act as the Fireflies user who signed in or created the key, and the agent sees only meetings that user can access in Fireflies. If you share the connection organization-wide, everyone using the agent reads that person’s meetings. A team admin’s API key covers the whole team’s meetings. Connect with an account whose meetings you are comfortable exposing that way. Fireflies limits how many requests each plan can make:
On Free and Pro, a few in-depth questions can use up the day’s requests. The connection works again when the limit resets.
Tools
The main read tools are below. Manage tools on the connection card lists every tool your connection has. Enable a tool there if it is not already on.
Fireflies also offers tools that change meetings: sharing and revoking access, moving meetings between channels, renaming them, changing their privacy, and creating soundbites. Turn those on in Manage tools only if you want the agent to take those actions.
