What the agent gets
- Record reads across people, companies, deals, and custom objects, by full-text search, by filter, or by ID.
- Lists, such as a sales pipeline, with each entry’s stage and other list fields.
- Notes, emails, meetings, and call recordings, by metadata or by topic, including full call transcripts.
- Reports that count, total, or average records by any attribute, and read-only SQL on Attio plans that include it.
- Writes, if you enable them: create, update, and merge records, add records to lists, and log notes, comments, tasks, and activities.
Setup
Click Connect under Connections → MCP Servers and sign in to Attio. Rippit registers itself automatically, so there is no client ID, client secret, or API key to enter. Attio’s MCP server is available on every Attio plan. See Attio’s guide for details.Identity and scope
The connection acts as the Attio user who signed in, with that user’s permissions in their Attio workspace. A record that user cannot see is a record the agent cannot see. Attio offers no API key or service-account option for MCP. For an organization-wide connection, sign in with an Attio account whose access suits everyone who will use the agent, including scheduled runs.Tools
When you enable the connection, each of the following tools can be enabled / disabled. Tools can be bulk enabled or selected individually. Attio marks its read tools as read-only, so they start enabled. Write tools start disabled. Manage tools on the connection card is the authoritative list for your connection.
Attio limits tool calls per workspace. Semantic search, reports, and SQL allow 2 requests per second each, so a broad question can take longer to answer than one that searches by name or filter.
