# Bulk Ingest API

> An assistant skill that walks you through sending conversations or tables into Rippit with the Ingest API: token, test upload, full upload, and a schedule.

The Bulk Ingest API skill (`rippit-bulk-ingest-api`) is an agent skill: a set of instructions your assistant loads when you ask it to send data into Rippit. It turns the [Ingest API](https://docs.rippit.com/ingest-api/overview.md) into a guided conversation. Tell it where your data lives and it handles the rest:

1. **Token.** Shows you where to create an API token, then has you paste it into a private file on your computer, so it never goes into the chat.
2. **Check.** Confirms the token works and the Ingest API is enabled for your workspace.
3. **Test upload.** Writes the upload script, runs it on 10 conversations or 1,000 rows, and shows you what was written and what was rejected.
4. **Full upload.** Once you've checked the test in Rippit, sends everything, then offers to put it on a schedule.

The skill needs an assistant that can run code on your computer, such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor. In a chat-only assistant, it writes the script and you run it.

## Install

**Claude Code**

Start a new session and ask it to send your data to Rippit. To update, run the same command again.

**Claude web / desktop**

1. Save [the skill file](https://integrations.maestroqa.com/api/v2/guides/rippit-bulk-ingest-api.md) as `SKILL.md` in a folder named `rippit-bulk-ingest-api`.
2. Zip the folder.
3. In Claude, open **Settings**, then **Capabilities**, and upload the zip under **Skills**.

**Other assistants**

Most assistants that support agent skills read them from a skills folder in your project or home directory. Save [the skill file](https://integrations.maestroqa.com/api/v2/guides/rippit-bulk-ingest-api.md) as `rippit-bulk-ingest-api/SKILL.md` in that folder.

Without skills support, paste this into your assistant instead:
