# n8n

> Call Rippit from an n8n workflow with the MCP Client Tool node.

n8n workflows can use Rippit as a tool for an AI Agent node, for example to pull a weekly summary of conversation themes and post it somewhere.

## Add Rippit to a workflow

1. In your workflow, open the **AI Agent** node and add a tool.

2. Choose **MCP Client Tool**.

3. Fill in:

   | Field | Value |
   | - | - |
   | Endpoint | `https://mcp.rippit.com/mcp` |
   | Server Transport | HTTP Streamable |
   | Authentication | MCP OAuth2 |

4. Create a new credential. Leave **Use Dynamic Client Registration** on and leave the other OAuth fields blank. n8n registers itself with Rippit automatically.

5. Select **Connect my account** and sign in to Rippit in the browser window that opens.

6. Under **Tools to Include**, keep **All**, or choose **Selected** to give the agent only the Rippit tools it needs.

## Things to know

**The workflow runs as whoever signed in.** The credential holds one person's Rippit sign-in, and every run of every workflow that uses it sees what that person can see in Rippit, including scheduled runs nobody is watching. Use an account whose access fits what the workflow does.

**Re-authenticate if runs start failing on sign-in.** If the credential stops working, open it and select **Connect my account** again.
