# Muse

> Connect Rippit to Muse, Meta's AI assistant, as a custom connector.

Muse is Meta's AI assistant. Rippit isn't in Muse's connector directory, so you add it by asking Muse in chat to create a custom connector.

## Add Rippit

1. In a Muse chat, ask it to create the connector, for example: "Create a custom connector named Rippit. Remote MCP server, streamable HTTP, URL [https://mcp.rippit.com/mcp](https://mcp.rippit.com/mcp), auth: OAuth."
2. Follow Muse's prompts. When it opens the Rippit sign-in page, sign in and approve the connection.
3. Ask Muse to list Rippit's tools to check the connection.

Rippit signs you in through your browser and doesn't use API keys, so there is nothing to paste into Muse's credential prompt.

## Things to know

**Manage the connector.** Go to **Settings**, then **Connectors** to see or disconnect Rippit. If Rippit stops responding, disconnect it there and ask Muse to connect it again.

**Approvals.** Under **Settings**, then **Permissions**, choose when Muse asks for your approval before acting through Rippit.

**Your Rippit permissions apply.** Muse sees only what the signed-in Rippit account can see. Meta does not review custom connectors.
