# Admin setup

> Add the Rippit connector to your Claude organization.

This covers the Claude web and desktop apps, including Cowork. The terminal client is set up per developer; see [Claude Code](/clients/claude-code).

## Before you start

You must be an **Admin** for your Claude organization.

## Add the connector

1. Open Claude and go to **Settings** > **Connectors**.
2. Click **Add custom connector**.
3. Enter a name (e.g. `Rippit`) and the URL `https://mcp.rippit.com/mcp`.
4. Click **Add**.

That's the whole admin step.

## What this does and doesn't do

Adding the connector makes Rippit **available** to your organization. It does not connect anyone and it does not grant access to any data. Every user still signs in with their own Rippit account, and sees only what they could already see in Rippit, so each user needs a Rippit login before they can connect.

## Verify it works

If you have a Rippit account, run through [End user setup](/clients/claude/end-user) yourself. Otherwise ask one user to test before you announce it.

## Next steps

* Send your team [End user setup](/clients/claude/end-user)
* [Skills](/skills): ready-made analysis workflows, and the reason Claude is the most capable Rippit client
* [Security](/security): the permission model, for review or a questionnaire
