# Rippit CLI

> Install the Rippit command-line tool, create or access an account, and upload CSV files from a terminal or coding agent.

The Rippit CLI lets you upload CSV files and query your data from a terminal or an assistant with command execution. An MCP connection is not required.

## Install

```sh theme={null}
curl -fsSL https://rippit.sh | sh
```

Use the executable path printed by the installer if `rippit` is not yet on your `PATH`.

## Authenticate

For a new account, run `rippit signup you@company.com`. For an existing account, run `rippit login`. Follow the command's instructions to complete any browser steps. Run `rippit whoami` to check the signed-in account.

## Upload a CSV

```sh theme={null}
rippit upload conversations.csv --no-prompt --format json
```

The command waits for the upload to finish and returns the worksheet and workbook IDs. CSV files must be UTF-8 with a header row, at most 10,000 data rows and 50 MiB. This upload does not require setting up an Ingest API token.

## Command reference

Run `rippit --help` to discover commands, including `data` for inspecting data and `ask` for questions. Use subcommand help, such as `rippit upload --help` or `rippit ask --help`, for arguments and options.
