# Replit

> Let the Rippit agent build and update Replit apps, and ask Replit Agent about an app.

Connect Replit when you want an answer turned into something people can use: an internal dashboard built from a Rippit analysis, a small tool your support team asked for, or a change to a Replit app you already have. The Rippit agent hands the work to Replit Agent, which builds or updates the app in your Replit account.

## What the agent gets

* **Build** a new Replit app from a prompt.
* **Update** an existing Replit app.
* **Ask Replit Agent** questions about an app.

Replit Agent works in the background, so a build or update can take a while to finish after the Rippit agent starts it.

## Setup

Click **Connect** under **Connections → MCP Servers** and sign in to Replit. Rippit registers itself automatically, so there is no client ID, client secret, or API key to enter. See [Replit's guide](https://docs.replit.com/platforms/mcp-server) for details.

## Identity and scope

The connection acts as the Replit user who signed in. Apps the agent builds are created in that user's Replit account, and the agent can only reach apps that user can reach.

If you share the connection organization-wide, everyone using the agent builds and changes apps as that person. Connect with an account whose apps you are comfortable sharing that way.

## Tools

**Tools pending.** No Rippit workspace has connected Replit yet, so we have not confirmed which tools it serves. Once you connect, **Manage tools** on the connection card lists every tool your connection has, and you can enable them there.

Building and updating apps changes your Replit account. If none of Replit's tools start enabled, that is expected: turn on only the ones you want the agent to use.
