# Nooks

> Let the Rippit agent read your Nooks calls, sequences, and prospects alongside your conversation data.

Connect Nooks when what customers say in support conversations needs to be read against your outbound sales activity: the dialer calls a rep made to an account, the sequence a prospect is enrolled in, or a coaching call where a rep handled the same objection. The Rippit agent reads your Nooks records, searches coaching call transcripts, and cites the calls it finds in its answer.

## What the agent gets

* **Calls** placed through Nooks, with their dispositions, filterable by date.
* **Coaching call search** by rep, team, time range, prospect, account, disposition, or what was said, plus speaker-labeled, timestamped **transcripts**.
* **Prospects and accounts** synced into Nooks.
* **Sequences, enrollments, tasks, and emails** from Nooks Sequencing.
* **Users and teams**, so the agent can name who made a call.

## Setup

Nooks does not let Rippit register itself as an OAuth client, so a Nooks workspace admin creates an OAuth app once and pastes its credentials into Rippit.

**1. Create an OAuth app in Nooks**

In Nooks, go to **Developer → OAuth Apps** and click **New OAuth App**. Copy the **client secret** when it is shown: Nooks shows it only once. On the app's **Auth** tab, add the redirect URI Rippit shows in the connect dialog, copied exactly rather than typed, and turn on every scope. Nooks rejects the connection if the app is missing a scope Rippit requests. See [Nooks' guide](https://support.nooks.ai/articles/7188609428-setting-up-a-nooks-oauth-app-for-custom-claude-connectors) for details.

**2. Connect in Rippit**

Paste the app's **client ID** and **client secret** into Rippit, then authorize. Nooks shows a consent screen listing the scopes. The first authorization for a Nooks workspace must come from a Nooks admin.

If Nooks adds scopes later, turn them on in the app's **Auth** tab and reconnect.

## Identity, scope, and seats

The connection acts as the Nooks user who authorized it, and the agent sees only records that user can see in Nooks.

The Nooks MCP server is available only to users with a Nooks Sequencing or AI Coaching seat, and the seats decide which tools appear. Coaching call search and transcripts cover only calls made by reps who hold an AI Coaching seat.

If you share the connection organization-wide, everyone using the agent reads what that Nooks user can see. Connect with an account whose records you are comfortable exposing that way.

## Tools

The main read tools are below. **Manage tools** on the connection card lists every tool your connection has. Enable a tool there if it is not already on.

| Tool | What it does |
| - | - |
| `searchCalls` | Search coaching calls by rep, team, time range, prospect, account, outcome, or transcript keyword |
| `getCallTranscript` | Read a coaching call's speaker-labeled, timestamped transcript |
| `listCalls` / `getCall` | List and read calls placed through Nooks |
| `listProspects` / `getProspect` | List and read prospects |
| `listAccounts` / `getAccount` | List and read accounts |
| `listSequences` / `listSequenceStates` | List sequences and prospect enrollments |
| `listEmails` / `listTasks` | List sequence emails and tasks |
| `listUsers` / `listTeams` | List workspace members and teams |
| `getMe` | Show which Nooks user and workspace the connection uses |

Nooks also offers tools that change your workspace: creating and editing sequences and steps, enrolling prospects, managing tasks, adding notes, and sending emails. Some of them delete data. Turn those on in **Manage tools** only if you want the agent to take those actions.
